Three weeks ago today we were honored to capture the wedding of two amazing people who have a very special place in my heart :) I first met Renee and Richard when I went out to their beautiful home on Kent Island to conduct a DSLR photo lesson, I was immediately drawn to their warmth and caring natures and intense love for each other. A few months later Renee told me the exciting news and asked if I'd photograph their special day, and of course I said yes :) We did their engagement session on a beautiful fall day at Terrapin park and before we knew it the big day has arrived!

The day of the wedding the Bride and Groom got ready at their beautiful home on Kent Narrows with their families before doing a first look on the upper balcony of their home, despite being Winter, the pair had the perfect weather for some outdoor photos :) The beautiful and intimate ceremony and reception took place just a few miles from their home at Bridges on Kent Narrows and I couldn't image a more perfect setting for a lovely winter wedding! You won't believe who made the cake! Renee is not only stunning and among the most amazing people I've ever met, she is also a FABULOUS baker!! She made her own wedding cake and it was not only beautiful but DELICIOUS! I can't say that many brides are able to manage everything leading up to their wedding AND make their own wedding cake...it really just speaks to have amazing and special she really is <3

This is just a sneak of R&R's special day, but I feel that these images show a story in themselves, one of LOVE, LAUGHTER and FRIENDSHIP, which are key elements in any marriage. I love both of these two so much and hope you can feel the love as well <3
